The Requirements

To be a strong fit for the Social Media Marketing Manager opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a similar field preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  Quick question for you - click here
  • 1-3 years of Digital / E-Commerce marketing experience, ideally supporting several B2C brands.
  • Experience with Sprout, Olapic, Curalate or like platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Google Analytics experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis, the ability to derive meaning from data and a desire to improve processes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.

  • Ability to work effectively with minimal direction.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

The nature of this role requires interaction with social media outside of standard business hours, so you must be flexible with a do what it takes attitude. In addition, you must also be willing to travel nationally, primarily to California, and sometimes internationally, up to 20%. The Role

Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, as Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing the corporate social media strategy as well as creating the calendar. You will strategize, execute and analyze marketing and operational objectives for the social media channels for the Implus organization. Additionally, you will develop, execute, analyze and report on integrated digital strategies that will impact over 20+ brands. It will be imperative that you understand best practices, and are willing to test and optimize based on data and channel level performance. Communication with various brands and departments throughout the organization will be central to your success. For example, you will work closely with the Digital and Email Marketing Managers, sharing data and working to ensure consumers directed to each unique site have a compelling and positive experience. 

Additionally, as part of your role, you will:
  • Create and follow a marketing calendar for social media channels for a variety of Implus brands
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align for multiple brands and their business goals
  • Manage a third-party affiliate marketing service to expand upon the brand presence in the social media universe
  • Set specific objectives for channel performance and report on ROI
  • Develop and maintain a series of KPI’s that will consistently elevate the channel performance.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news). You will partner closely with the corporate creative team, but also need to be able to operate independently for real-time marketing
  • Partner with all areas of the business. In this role, it is important to develop and maintain relationships with all functional areas of the Implus organization.
