Your Qualifications

To be a strong fit for the Digital Marketing Manager opportunity, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a similar field preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Quick question for you - click here
  • 1-3 years of Digital / E-Commerce Marketing experience including digital analytics software.
  • 1-3 years of B2B and/or B2C email marketing experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial, automation and personalization. Quick question for you - click here
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis; the ability to derive meaning from data and a desire to improve processes.
  • Computer literacy, including:
    • Knowledge of and experience with a larger email marketing platform (ESP).
    • Google analytics.
    • HTML and CSS knowledge and experience.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including intermediate Excel skills for reporting. 
In addition, you will demonstrate the following core competencies and characteristics:
  • A self-starter with a proactive and confident approach.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Ability to multi-task, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You will work out of our offices in Durham during typical business hours, with a willingness to flex as projects demand. In other words, you'll enjoy solid work/life balance with a late night here and there to meet deadlines. You must also be willing to travel up to 10%.

The Role

Opportunity Snapshot

Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, as Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the development, execution, analysis and reporting of integrated digital strategies that will impact 20+ brands. You will leverage your understanding of best practices within the channel, and test and optimize outcomes based on data and channel level performance. Communication with various brands throughout the organization will be central to your success.

Specifically, you will:
  • Develop and execute an email marketing strategy for all Implus brands. This will include, but not be limited to, developing a campaign calendar, testing strategy, automations and triggered messages, as well as determining optimizations based on performance data.
  • Directly interface with the internal IT/Development team to structure segmentable data points to ensure Implus brands provide a world-class personalized experience.
  • Develop the engagement level and financial based goals for the vital digital marketing channel. These will vary by brand and the performance goals will be a key factor in determining levels of success.
  • Maintain a financial budget for a cross-branded channel.
  • Develop a series of KPI’s that will consistently elevate channel performance.
  • Partner with all areas of the business, developing and maintaining relationships with all functional areas of the Implus organization.
  • Learn about other digital marketing channels such as paid media, display, social media, organic search, etc. to help drive our digital progress.
