Support our MS 365/AX Implementation by Enhancing Global Supply Chain Environment & Gain Broad Exposure to Best-in-Class Technologies

Leverage your supply chain background (coupled with some experience in business/programming logic) to create labeling outputs per customer specifications, from our ERP system. You will manage several “moving parts” with respect to Distribution Center management for our ERP implementation. You’ll learn technical and functional aspects of label making software (we use NiceLabel, similar to BarTender or Loftware) and this is a great learning opportunity to broaden your tech skills in a global supply chain environment.

You’ll join us in the heart of Research Triangle Park, one of the most prominent high-tech research and development centers in the U.S; in fact, Raleigh was ranked the #2 best place for business and careers by Forbes in 2017. Our philosophy is people over processes and we foster innovation, accountability, commitment, and teamwork.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Graphic Design or similar discipline; we welcome recent grads (mindset/personality trumps credentials)

  • Background with business and programming logic is a plus
  • SAP Crystal reports experience is a plus
  • Superior analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Solid initiative and self-motivation, and a demonstrated ability to achieve goals independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A passion for improving processes and a commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Consulting experience/background is a plus
  • Experience with Consumer Goods or Logistics industry with global operations is preferred

The Role

This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Global Business Systems Manager. As you come on board your main focus is to:
  1. Support Microsoft Dynamics 365/AX from a reporting perspective; we produce a high volume of labels out of our ERP system and you’ll work with our IT teams to re-create labeling to exact specifications using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), a server-based report generating software embedded in our ERP system
  2. You’ll also drive artwork management, upload logos and barcodes to specifications using the right fonts/style guide
In general, your responsibilities will be to:
  • Create, manage and print labels to exacting specifications and scale labeling operations across our entire global network

Why Implus

Broad exposure: You’ll be supporting labeling/artwork management from our ERP system and this system touches all parts of our organization so you will gain broad exposure to Dynamics 365/AX and other technologies within a global supply chain environment.

Positive company culture: Our culture is how we work together to serve our customers and grow. Our values foster an energized team environment, build on our strengths, promote innovation, and encourage accountability, commitment, and teamwork. Our philosophy is people over process. We strive to provide an environment that promotes entrepreneurialism, along with fun, healthy competition, and global partnerships. We believe in giving back to our communities and society.

A work environment that keeps employees in mind: We want our employees to enjoy coming to work every day. That's why we offer a casual environment where you can wear jeans and t-shirts every day. We also have an onsite fitness center, and off-site employer-sponsored events that allow you to engage with other employees, have fun and relax.

Keys to Success

Managing labeling and artwork to be dynamic, data driven and synchronized with our existing ERP system will require tactical excellence and razor-sharp attention to details. You’ll master the art of maintaining a laser focus on the myriad details of labeling/artwork management without losing sight of the big picture and how those details fit in and deliver highly accurate work on a consistent basis. Other “keys” to success include:
  • Strong independent initiative – you'll assume ownership of your goals and activities, managing information and action steps with a minimum of supervision.
  • Innovation – with an eye for the "big picture," you'll demonstrate a strategic approach to problem solving, continually evaluating our reporting processes as you look for new and better ways to help us achieve our objectives.
  • Flexibility – handling multiple systems and processes while supporting diverse stakeholders with differing requirements will regularly call upon your abilities to multitask, prioritize, and easily adjust to the evolving needs of our growing business.
  • Life-long learner – you’ll showcase your mental agility and hunger for learning emerging technologies to keep your tech skills sharp and ensure that we stay ahead of the curve.
