The Requirements
To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. - Leadership savvy to recruit and manage/mentor a team of IT professionals
- Strong knowledge of effective business requirements practices and implementation methodologies
- Superior analytics, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with diverse internal & external stakeholders, ranging from shop floor personnel to executive management
- Ability to think creatively and strategically with a proven track record in aligning and driving project and revenue goals
- Self-initiative to achieve or exceed performance results, setting clear goals and meeting expectations
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize issues in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A passion for improving processes and a commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to travel (around 10%)
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)
- Experience with M&A transactions specific to IT related activities is desirable
- Experience with EDI and managing application integrations is a plus
- Prior management consulting experience is a plus
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will be responsible for driving and building out our Global Business Systems team of 10+ members to support our applications. You’ll interact with cross-functional teams across the organization, ranging from Sales, Engineering and Account Management to Operations and Finance in a multi-cultural global environment, positioning yourself as a credible subject matter expert who can interpret diverse user communities’ needs and translate these into application requirements.We’re in the early stages of our Dynamics 365/AX implementation so initially your key focus is to really understand our business and drive a successful implementation. Once it’s live, you and your team will work on continued roll-outs, customizations and deployment to other regions of the world. Specifically, your responsibilities will be to:
- Manage team to ensure system processes are aligned with best practices and global business requirements.
- Manage business analyst and developers to ensure successful completion of ERP systems implementations, supporting project schedules, and resource planning.
- Challenge business analysts and functional business representative to continually strive to improve business process by identifying areas for improvement, supporting process re-engineering projects, recommending efficient ERP processes, and implementing changes as needed.
- Look for opportunities for cost reductions within the IS/IT organization, and within the functional areas of Implus.
- Develop plan for global support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Enterprise and ensure other ERP-related applications are deployed globally.
- Manage team to ensure support levels are maintained for the ERP system user communities.
- Coordinate and encourage business analysts to collaborate with Implus IS/IT resources.
- Serve as liaison between Implus and Microsoft support organization as it relates to all components of the ERP system.
- Collaborate with representatives from the various organizations to ensure all system design requirements adequately meet the business requirements.
- Manage the process of translating end users’ general requirements into system specifications.
- Identify and document requirements for application configuration, implementation, and training.
- Managing the development of test plans and training documentation that is relevant to the business processes.
- Plan and manage system testing required for software upgrades and in functionality implementation.
- Plan and manage user training as it applies to ERP implementations.
- Work with remote team members, outsourced resources, and users to effectively complete tasks.
- Understand our business to further develop/customize projects and drive continuous improvements.
